Our Story

Hi, I'm Roxy, the face behind Flower Preservations Ireland.

My journey into flower preservation started in a very real way with my own wedding bouquet. I got married in September 2023 and, like so many brides, I wanted to keep my flowers. When I couldn't find anyone nearby to preserve them, I decided to learn how to do it myself.

What started as a personal project quickly turned into something much bigger. I fell completely in love with the process and taught myself how to preserve flowers using resin, investing in courses, constant research, and the best materials I could find. Flower Preservations Ireland grew from that passion and my work has been recognised by the wedding industry and I won my first award in 2024 as Weddings Online Newcomer of the Year.

I work full-time in a job I enjoy, but flowers are where my creativity really comes alive. When I'm not preserving blooms, I'm at home with my rescue cats and my American Akita, also a rescue, adopted through Husky Rescue Ireland and now I am mum to baby Cillian who is my whole world.

I'm based in Celbridge, Co. Kildare, and most brides send their bouquets to me by post. Each piece takes time, patience, and care, with over 50 steps involved in the preservation process. I work closely with every client to create something personal and meaningful, whether it's a wedding bouquet, memorial flowers, or a sentimental keepsake.

Behind the scenes, my partner Philip is a huge part of the process. He looks after the drilling, sanding, and technical details, and supports me every step of the way. Together, we put genuine care into every piece that leaves our hands.

Every flower tells a story. My job is to help you hold onto it.
